Anxiety
It is normal to be nervous about treatment. If you feel you need help with your nervousness in order to undergo treatment, please let us know. We have options available to you including laughing gas/nitrous oxide, oral anti-anxiety medications, and even IV sedation under the expert care of a dental anethesiologist. These options must be planned in advanced to ensure a good patient experience.
Will it hurt?
You will be completely numb during the procedure and should not feel anything.
Will I be able to drive afterward?
We use local anesthetic only, so you will be able to drive.
Will I be awake?
You will be completely awake and able to communicate with us throughout the procedure.
How long will the procedure take?
Most cases take about 2 hours, but some require multiple appointments.
What will recovery be like afterward?
Every tooth is different. Hot and cold sensation is removed immediately, but some residual soreness may remain for several days to a week.
