Root Canal Retreatments

Sometimes a tooth that had a root canal in the past requires revision. This can happen for a variety of reasons and sometimes the reason cannot be determined.

In our office, this procedure is typically performed in 2 separate appointments.

At the first appointment, we remove the existing root filling material and place medication down deep in the roots of the tooth. At the second appointment, we fit and place new root fillings.
